Wine Tasting + Picnic

Feel nature in its purest form! Your experience begins with a visit to Quinta da Raza cellar where you’ll indulge in wine tasting and hear a brief explanation about the aromas and flavours of the most typical Basto varieties. While sipping the nectars of this sub-region, the producer will share some of the details about vinho verde in general and, in particular, about the traditional varieties grown in the region.

After the prelude, you’ll have the rest of the day to yourself to enjoy the best nature has to offer, with the peace and tranquillity you deserve! We’ll give you a stocked picnic basket for you to enjoy in one of  many spots on Basto Region. Or perhaps even take a walk down to the banks of the Tâmega River.

You just have to pick up your picnic basket from our shop and enjoy the magnificent views, the peaceful surroundings, the chirping of birds and the serene babbling of the water.

And, because we care about the environment, the picnic basket and the utensils are for you, so you can reuse them at future picnics.

Cancellation policy

Cancellations of the selected wine tourism program up to 5 days in advance will receive a full refund.

Cancellations within less than 5 days will not be entitled to a refund. However, these may be rescheduled so that the user does not lose their right to enjoy the selected program.

Rescheduling will depend on availability of the Quinta da Raza agenda.

Cancellations less than 24 hours in advance will not be refunded and may not be rescheduled.
